the idea still lingers on that anything printed is bound to be true, period.
Our weapon of defense has been the plain truth, supported by common sense and overwhelming evidence, plus research and development of effective software countermeasures as applicable.
Equally, we share our customers' belief that in our environment crowded with pollution and
trash, it is our human (let alone civic) duty to reduce the trash and cut down the pollution . The analogy is somewhat prosaic but disposing of an empty cartridge is equivalent to junking the car when the tank is empty.
The plain truth is that a jet cartridge is an ingenious device dispensing ink ingenuously. However crafty the device may be, ink is ink. It follows that if the ink is correct (very, very important), the device will dispense it. This, clearly, is not a metaphysical revelation nor the truth of Mr. Lapalisse, it is common sense. And with

On Mr. La Palisse
|
| The truth of Mr. Lapalisse means stating the obvious. The word is originally French but it was exported (in the XIX century) into various European languages, including English. Do you know how it came about? Monsieur de la Palisse was a respected and valiant French Captain in the service of King Francis I at the battle of Pavia (Italy, 1525) between the French and an army made up of Spanish, Swiss and Italian soldiers. Monsieur de la Palisse was captured. An Italian and a Spanish soldier argued about who had the rights of capture. In a bout of rage the Spaniard discharged his arquebuse directly at the heart of the old captain, Monsieur de la Palisse who died instantly. This unexpected death stirred the imaginations of the French soldiers who created a limerick that (translated) went as follows: |
|
Monsieur de la Palisse died,
he died in front of Pavia.
Alas, if he had not died
He would still stir our envy. |
|
But a scribe, in writing down the words made one spelling error, so that the last two lines read: |
|
Alas, if he had not died
He would still be alive. |

Giving obvious truths the ring of importance knows no international boundaries. President Coolidge was once quoted as follows: "When many people are out of work, unemployment occurs". |

our user base of over one million (in the US and abroad, even in remote corners of the world), the evidence is overwhelming.
As for the software countermeasures, we are constantly developing them - so far only few printers need them and the applicable software is described (and included) in the relevant Recharge Kit.
We have won some important battles but the war is still on and we are fighting on your behalf. Our flag is your flag. |
Travel to the Center of a Jet Cartridge |
|
Before traveling inside the body of a cartridge let’s consider its anatomy. Curiously, the classifications that relate to jet printers and cartridges are based on the number 2. For accuracy, all current business and home jet printers are based on the principle of ‘drop-on-demand’. Refer to the section ‘The light historical touch’ for information on the concept of drop-on-demand.
