Description
The HyperConverter is the most cost effective High Resolution Computer Graphics to
Video Converter for use with IBM, ISA (clone) and Macintosh computers available
anywhere. Compatible with analog Computer Graphics devices in the IBM PC family,
including VGA and Super-VGA, and with Macintosh computers, the HyperConverter
converts High Resolution Computer Graphics output to NTSC or PAL compatible video in
real time. The HyperConverters flexible design automatically accommodates any input
resolution up to 1024 X 768, 72 Hz, non-interlaced, as well as all original IBM standard
VGA modes. Text Graphics and Video Windows are all reproduced WYSIWYG style, that
is, what appears on the tape is an exact replica of what appears on the screen. Using the
HyperConverter is the easiest method of recording High Resolution Computer Graphic
Display to Video.
Advantages
Cost Effectiveness The HyperConverter is very cost effective. The nearest comparable
product is well above $3,000.00
Professional Quality Video Output. The Hyper-Converter produces Professional Quality
Video. Operation is based on Scan Conversion Technology. This ensures that the output
is a NTSC or PAL video signal of professional quality, regardless of the input resolution
or mode.
Flicker Free Operation. Digital Filtering minimizes the flicker often associated with
Computer to Video Transfer. You get optimal possible video quality both in the NTSC and
PAL
Distortion Free Video Rendering. Your video tape is an exact replica of what you see on
your screen. This means no black lines or borders and reproduction of the full range of
colors. Whether it be Text, Graphics, a Live Video Window or any combination of the
three, the HyperConverter accurately reproduces the screen presentation on video tape
Full Color Range. 24 bit technology will faithfully reproduce the full color spectrum
generated by High Color (16 bit and 24 bit) Super VGA devices. The S-Video output
option gives you the full advantage of this type of video in signal and color quality.
Independent Operation. HyperConverter operates independently of the computer and
computer display. There are no interrupts or base address switches toworry about, and no
internal links via the feature connector. The external versions even avoid the need to
open the computer. The HyperConverter works with motherboard or 1/0 channel VGAs
and Super-VGAs. Just plug the HyperConverters keyed connector into your monitor and
your systems VGA, Super-VGA (or Macintosh output connector) and the installation is
complete
Full Compatibility and Automatic Adjustment to Your System. All possible configurations
of the computer graphics device are automatically sensed and adjusted for by the
HyperConverter. The HyperConverter detects and supports all standard IBM VGA and
Super-VGA modes, up to a maximum resolution of 1024 X 768 at a vertical Frequency of
up to 72 Hz non-interlaced. You can even change resolution and video mode on the fly: -
the HyperConverter will adapt instantly.
Ease and Simplicity of Operation. The Hyper-Converter is very easy to use because it
performs all functions without software of any kind. It requires no drivers, operating
systems, extensions, terminate and stay resident routines. This means that the
HyperConverter is compatible with ANY program in ALL environments, running under
EVERY Operating System, DOS, Windows, UNIX, OS/2, or any other
