Las Vegas MoneyMaker (based on the Kodak Printer)

The Las Vegas MoneyMaker Systems give you the maximum power and flexibility of production. Included in each system is the Las Vegas Edition Video Overlay Software and its associated components. For a complete description of Video Overlay, its mode of operation and its applications please refer to the article (play), "All Is Well That Ends Video Overlaid". The Las Vegas MoneyMaker Systems also include the software application Turbo-Speed-Print. Turbo-Speed-Print ‘energizes’ the printer to a higher level of performance in sublimation mode. To understand the operation of Turbo-Speed-Print refer to the article (play) "Of Bits and Pixels". In essence, Turbo-Speed-Print performs 5 functions:

• Increases printing speed. For example in the case of the Kodak, Turbo-Speed-Print causes the printer to print up to 50 full page pictures an hour. In turn this lets you maximize business as traffic builds up at your Production Center.
• Enhances quality of output
• Enables batch printing (i.e. you can set the printer to print (unsupervised) up to 50 different pictures.
• Lets you combine multiple pictures (up to 4 pictures per page). This means, among other things, savings on consumables.
• Reduces the memory required to scan images. This means faster scanning (if acquiring pictures from the scanner) and larger memory capacity, if you wish to create an archive of pictures for historic or promotional purposes.

With the Las Vegas MoneyMaker you can:

• Print pictures in standard and sublimation (high quality mode). Refer to the article/play "Of Bits and Pixels" for an explanation of the difference between standard and sublimation printing modes.
• Transfer pictures to T-shirts, tiles, metals, Mouse Pads etc. using the Flat Press.
• Do the full range of Video Overlays. This includes:
• Superimposing customer head over someone else’s body.
• Making customer appear in a picture with a celebrity
• Superimposing customer picture over a stored landscape (for example a landmark at a touring location, or in front of a hotel etc.)
• Besides using any of the 50 pictures from the "Fabulous Pictures" Collection, the Las Vegas MoneyMaker Systems let you create your own ‘masks’, using the scanner along with the provided image processing software and mask making instructions. This feature gives you unsurpassed flexibility. For example, if you are in Tahiti, you can easily create a mask showing a selected Tahitian landscape and the Prime Minister of Tahiti in front of it. Then you can take a picture of the customer and superimpose his picture on your mask. The result? The customer appears in a Tahitian landscape along with the Prime Minister of Tahiti.
• An important and unique feature of the Las Vegas Edition Overlay software is AUTOMATIC COLOR CORRECTION. Press one button and the system will automatically match and adjust the color and complexion of the customer face to the color and tone of the mask. For example if you create a mask of the Mona Lisa and substitute the customer face for the Mona Lisa original, you will obtain a picture of a creature who fits naturally the color, tone and settings of the original painting.
• Use the external large, S-VHS (high quality) TV monitor as a promotion and display tool. As you work with a customer, other people will gather around the monitor as the display with its mask and overlays triggers their attention. Those who watch the process become instantly potential customers.
• Upon acquiring the overlaid picture the Las Vegas Edition software link, lets you transfer the picture to the Image Processing Software (Adobe PhotoShop). Here you can apply an almost endless range of special effects, as well as do additional Facial Make-Over using the Digital Pen, Tablet and software included with the computer.
• The Custom Keyboard is the ‘command center’ of the system. All functions are clearly indicated on large color-keyed pushbuttons.
