Question: I am interested in refilling my toner cartridge with your toner bottles, however, I noticed that you also offer a "chip" for my cartridge. Is it necessary for me to replace the chip when I refill my cartridge?

Answer: For your printer model, we recommend replacing the chip on the toner cartridge each time that you refill it. The chip is what tells the printer whether a new cartridge has been installed or not, and in some cases administers to the toner-tracking features of your printer.
