About Computer Friends

The company Computer Friends, first started in 1982. Our first product was the MacInker, the universal ribbon re-inker of which, to date, we have sold over 260,000 units. Ironically, the product name had nothing to do with the Macintosh. With a dash of optimism we dreamt of being able to produce a banner (one day) saying Over 100,000 sold, after the fashion of a well known fast food franchise. Still, our MacInkers have saved and still save our customers thousands of dollars in printing costs. Now we support jet printers (with our JetMaster product line), laser and thermal wax printers.

In 1985 we branched out in the (then) new world of color graphics and developed several video products, first for the Macintosh and now almost exclusively for the PC. Currently, we have ‘hot’ products in the fields of printer support, video capture, heat transfer (from video to print and printing on medium other than paper, T-shirts, Mugs etc.)

Through the years we have helped thousands of people go into business for themselves, with printer support and now with heat transfer products.
